Power Window Problems

I couldn't find this particular problem when I searched the forums, so here it goes:

I have a 2000 G20 and all 4 power windows work -- the problem is that not all of the switches will control the windows. I can control the driver and 2 rear windows from the driver's side "master" controller. The passenger window will only work when using the passenger-side switch (the driver-side master controller will not operate the window). Neither of the 2 rear window switches will operate the rear windows (they only work from the driver-side switches).

I checked fuses and they are all fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the switches themselves are busted.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of (I was jut hoping that there was a simple reset switch or something like that). Thanks for your reply.

It seems like I have a pretty similar problem as you on my 2000 Infiniti G20. I can operate all 4 power windows from the driver control panel. The rear windows and passenger side window switches, however, do not work. Have you had luck yet repairing this problem?

Had the same issue with my old G20. Find a junkyard special and replace it.

Hey maddog4509,

Hadn't done anything yet since I was on vacation for the past week. I will probably go to a junk yard as RED_DET recommended. Hopefully I can find a G20 around. Good luck to you!
