When I use the "Auto" feature on passenger side power window, the window goes up but "bounces" back down 2 or 3 inches.

If I want to close the window completely, I have to just keep inching up the window a spec at a time until it closes.

Any recommendions on how to possibly fix ?

Dealer said I need new motor. But motor seems fine, it just won't stay closed on "Auto".

Thanks

what about when you open/close the door. Does it behave the same way?

I had the very same issue (04 G35 Coupe) seems to be a common problem. The dealer said mine was a motor issue too...had them do the work (replaced the motor) and everything is fine now. It was covered under warranty so I could not tell you the cost. It is weird...it was my passenger side that went bad....I would think that side would not hardly ever get used....must have been a bad batch of motors.
