Power steering pump

Hi everyone,

I now believe my power steering pump is bad based on a lot of help from this thread:

zerothread/321943

As my car is started I hear whining that goes away after the car is warmed up and when started, when I turn my steering wheel to either side, I hear a rumbling/whining noise that gets worse as I turn the wheel--but it goes away after the car is warmed up.

Does anyone know how to replace the power steering pump?

Can you post some easy to follow directions?

Well, more bad news.

I looked at the power steering pump reservoir and it had NO FLUID inside of it. I can't believe I was driving like this for a couple of months. The thing is, I checked it a little while back and it was full. It must be a leak somewhere but I don't know where or where to look for it except under the car (no leaks there).

But anyhow, I used the Lucas power steering fluid. Hope it can save me some time so until I get the money.
