Power Package

ok, so despite the name if this post i got a '08 versa 1.8S without the power package. In fact the 6sp manual didn't come with anything except some overpriced carpets. It would be heaven on earth if i could find a junkyard selling the door molding for a power package versa since the armrests are longer to accommodate the power window switches and so forth. But would it be possible and how much do you think it would run me?

Would be rare to find and being new they would charge you an arm and a leg. Also that's a whole lot of work (wiring) for everything to work correctly.

Yeah man, I got an 08 S, and I thought installing aftermarket cruise would be easy... $450 later... worth it though, 4,000km road trips are no fun without cruise.

Converting to the power package after the fact using OEM parts is going to be both difficult and VERY expensive.

We have a local Nissan only wreckers here and they have a few different locations in California and I just called him and he told me they have never had a Versa at there locations and he has only seen 2 in the past year or so go through at the Auctions.

My 07 S with power package was totaled in December 07 in Gwinnett county. Don't know what junkyard it went to, but interior parts may still be around.
