So Ive been inspecting my z I just bought for potential repairs needing finished and Ive had some luck and some more problems.

First, the car started, idled for a second then died. I found that the coolant sensor was a bit corroded along with the TPS were having voltage issues. So i spliced into their ground and grounded them to body for now (only because the short on the wiring harness is inaccessible for the moment) until the new sensors and receivers arrive. The car idles better, revs higher, but still hesitates. I'm assuming it's a timing issue or an ignition issue now. Any suggestions? I plan to do a compression test soon to see for sure. The fuel pump seems ok, the fuel filter is new, and so is the MAF.

The throttle response is very very slow. So again, could be related to above but suggestions are welcome.

Another thing is a weird power draw. When the engine is idling or revving a bit, and I turn on my headlights, the idle drops lower than if I turn on the AC it seems. The battery looks new, and has good charge as of late. Could it be an alternator? I know that this is normal but it seems a bit abnormal

Thanks

And yes, it could be the alternator on the head light issue
