Does anyone know how to get the belt connector back on its track if it has popped off? It's not in the FSM anywhere..

For the longest time I thought that my driver's side just didn't work. I knew I had some sensor problem though because it would never recognize when I put on the belt, it would just keep blinking the seat belt light for 5 minutes. Well, I started playing with it and it finally recognized my seat belt being connected! Then I opened the door and I heard the belt motor kick on! It didn't move but I could at least hear it now. I figure if I can just get it on track it will work.

I'm so excited, I've gotten used to having to detach and reattach that shoulder belt every time I get in the car, can't wait till it works!

the track is junk. Btw, Nissan has a lifetime warranty on its seatbelts, on 1989, through 2001my, fyi. I just did a warranty passive seatbelt track on a 91 Sentra, under warranty;)

Hmm... no good. I tried taking it to a dealer and they said that it only applied if my belts where in the locked forward position.

I think those punks where stiffing me. I'm going to a more reputable dealer in Columbus.

That's BS. You can take it in there and have them even clean the seatbelts for free. Just tell them it's slow retracting.
