Hello, I am looking at purchasing a 2008 G35 sedan (I currently have a 99 G20 with 167k on it).
The one that i have found i like the best the dealer said it was a "Infinity Buyback" from California. i know that Cali has insane Lemon laws. They state they have full maintenance records and the car fax to which they are sending me. Maintenance records show it went in for:
Windshield Wipers noise (Could not duplicate(CNP))
Grinding under pass seat (CND)
Sunroof Noise (Lubed tracks, replaced glass and seals)
Rear bumper color not matching Trunklid (Unknown what done)
Grinding noise in Pass door (CND)
Also They said they purchased the vehicle from infiniti and infiniti has included and extra 12 month warranty for it.
It is a 2008 sedan with Premium package and navigation and 31k miles and they want 21500
My question is is purchasing a "buyback" generally a bad idea. I've tried searching and using Google and he not seen much on it.
Optimally I would like a G35S sedan with navigation, premium package and black seats but all i can find between here (Tucson) and phoenix in the sport is either missing navigation or black (don't want black, white, red) (looking for the graphite shadow color)
Thanks
Will
