I am considering buying a 350Z Track Edition... went for a test drive today and i am still in shock, but I need opinions first they want $33988 for it, should i get this also to go with the 240 or just get another loan to give the 240 some boost and deck it out?

EDIT: I added the pic, what do you think of the color? To Ricey???

I vote for blue also, either that or black. Me personaly, id buy a little econo box for daily purposes, and REALLY go to town on the 240, but thats just me. Either way, i dont think i would have any regrets.

Yeah, I'd say just work on the 240. Paying that loan's gonna suck, not to mention the insurance. I would love a 350z, but maybe when I get a bit older and richer, and have modded the crap out of my 240 and civic. You really gotta get that car when you can appreciate it deeply, and by then hopefully there will be much more of an aftermarket following for it.

ain't no question,,,,this car rocks!!!! and yes, i love that color on the z,,,,it's definitly my favorite. tough call on the buy question. on one hand having a huge payment is tough, but on the other hand sinking a ton of dough in a older car is not always viewed as "cost effective"(of course the love of a vehicle isn't usually entered in that equation!!!----p.s. just bought a 90Q45!). answering your question, if i choose from the heart, without a doubt,,,,the Z. from the brain,,,,,,,still the Z!!!!lol

Thats a pretty good price on the Track model. Is that with the nav?I like the Blue best but any color will do!The Nissan dealerships here are charging a 5k mark up just because the car is in demand they call it "Market Value" :oface I would just sugest that you look into the G35 coupe w/ 6-speed and "Track upgrades" It might be a bit cheeper.I like the G35 over the 350z also on interrior styling and Nav location. What ever you decide I say get the new car over moding the 240!;)

Ditto EVERY word that Jezter said - The G35 is the better buy - only a few less horses, btter dealr service, better interior, no dorky-looking door handles, etc.

Don't dump another dollar polishing the turd - It'll just be a shiny turd.

Hey Tino - Settle down, you're gonna drop your sippy cup.

What I meant was no matter how much $$$ you drop into the 240, it's not gonna be worth any more than it is now - And even that is dwindling fast (like all our cars).

Wish I could drop $35 large on a new car - But I'm a cheap basturd - I'd wait 2 years and buy a pair for that price.

The new z is like the New Beetle, the Audi TT, the PT Loser, etc. ALL of them commanded a MUCh higher price when they first came out because they were hard to find. Then the market was flooded with them. Stupid a$$es paid WAy too much.

A lady i work with got one of the first PT Losers in Phoenix - Cost her $24K. Car's a POS, and only worth $12K today. She owes $16K still. HAHAHAHA Dumba$$.

I here ya the 2 back seats in the G35(even though they are very small)would help me get the family arround. But even if that wasnt a factor I prefer the interior of the G35 over the 350z(both are very nice) and there is no doubt about the quality of Infiniti service!

Your right about no turds in those cars though.;)

That spectra blue (is that the right name?) is pretty hot on the 350z.

Definitly go with the 350z. I like that color, it's also the color if the 350 in the movie theatre commercials.

I am looking at buying the 350z enthusiast model, since I couldn't find a m3 that I liked enough. I am going with the Brickyard Color "dark dark maroon" I can get one for sticker wich will run me about 28.5k, and insurance is only 186 a month. Not too bad for a 20 year old.

BAHAHAHA thats classic!!! you know tino's always got a comeback though...hehe.

anyways, i'd get the 26,000 350z and do aftermarket stuff to it to "track-style" it. get my point?

if i had a 350(which i want)and wanted it touring edition..., i'd get some 19" Volks (3200), a clean body kit (lip type, about 1300 or so), and a bolt-on performance) WHAM, there's your touring edition....

CHEAPER TOO...

BUT IF I REALLY had my way...i'd WAIT til the Twin Turbos come out...bling bling...

The reason it is used id cuz the man who owned it before said he did not like the styling, and the gas milage, its got like 7xxxmi on it. (what the **** was the guy thinking) but anyways, he reason i am even looking in to a 350z is cause the bank is very reluctant to give me a loan to make my 240 faster. (Damn rich bastards) I would like to get a turbo on theis just to see how much it would fly. i like the color, and it seems to be a good deal, i am still in decision.... I'll decide at the end of the week.

is the z your talking about in cali, and is it silver, i think i have seen it on autotrader??? if it already has 7k miles on it i would be afraid of it. esp. if he is already sellin it. to ME, that would lead me to beleive he drove the sh#t out of it and its about to break down or something. just imho though.

I'd get the 350Z if you can afford it. Personally, I hate car payments (even my $140 a month with 9 left to go), so my next car is gonna be less than $5k and paid for in cash, but that's just me. :)

I LOVE the new Zs and if I could at all afford one, I would. Go for it.
