I have a 2wd and I would like to get better traction for the winter time. Has anyone heard of any posi rearends or mini spools or a rearend swap would work for this truck? Hopefully something not very expensive.

All you need is a set of Firestone Winterforce tires and your truck can tackle almost anything. Just throw some sand bags in the rear for good measure. Posi will only help so much in the snow.

You can always weld it. But be aware... that can be sketchy on ice and such.

My ice experience just involved driving at extremely funny angles then getting sideswiped by a woman in an SUV. Sudden ice storms in the land of people who don't know how to drive on snow, much less ice. Good thing I drive a beater and I'm the only person on earth who could pick out what dents were new and what dents were old.
