Wife and I are both 50. My 1996 Nissan Altima died recently (213,000 miles, may she rest in peace), and we needed another vehicle for bad weather and the like, so we got the AWD Rogue.

Car: 2010 Nissan Rogue SL - Premium - Leather - Roof

Post

39 - SL AWD - Wicked Black with Black leather seats. Premium package, Roof and Leather package.... I was at Nissan test driving the Murano, Titan, Frontier Crew Cab. I saw the Rogue on the lot and said lets try that one too... Next thing you know I am buying it. So far I love it! I was really looking for something that was decent on gas and could carry my sports equipment. I got the towing hitch added on too so I can pull a load to the dump once in a while.

My first choice would have been a GMC Terrain, but they are hard to find and the dealers are not offering any incentives on them. I am glad I saved some cash and went with the Rogue and the 0% financing plus free Oil changes for 2 years!

So that post shouldn't be here.

At the time of purchase in September 2008, 32, wife 28, 3 yo boy. Traded in a 1993 Mazda Mx-6, wanted something sporty yet could be used as the family car since my wife has a Mustang convertible, and we had a girl on the way.

Yea, I reported it earlier.

I just bought mine last month. I'm 35, wife is 38, and we have two kids, 10 & 7. Traded in a 6 month old Ford Fusion Sport. It was getting atrocious gas mileage, far below the EPA estimates, and something just felt off to me in the trans or engine or something... like it was wound too tight. I honestly went to the Nissan dealer just to test drive a Juke, drove the Rogue for comparison, and really liked it. When the wife's lease is up on her Altima, we may still get a Juke as a second vehicle. But the Rogue was definitely a better choice this time around.

I see you have a sub in your Rogue. Do you have any pictures of your sub/amp setup? I'm dying to put my speakers back in, but I have no idea where to start when it comes to placement in the Rogue...

16 Years old.

Was looking at a Pathfinder LE V8 or an Xterra 4x4.

My dad died, so we're low on cash and our 95 pathfinder was SUCKING gas like it was water.

I saw a New Black Nissan Rogue 360 ( for some reason it looks sick in black. )

I used to think Rogue was an old person car, but i felt pretty Natural driving it.

Not as fun as teh V6 Pathfinder ... less power, n not as loud.

But im saving up Money to get Magnaflow exhaust.

That oughtta make the Rogue sound better.

Every kid my age is looking for the following cars in my area :

Civic's
Acura Integra's - GREAT CAR, 1 OF MY DREAM CARS
Mitsubishi Eclipse - Same as Integra
G35s / G37s <- IF I COULD OWN ONE OF THESE. I SWEAR I'D HAVE A HEART ATTACK. IM IN LOVE WITH INFINITI
Chargers
Mustangs
Corrolla's

In my area everyone Rice's out their Civic, massive wings, massive tail pipes. I decided I wouldn't be an idiot like that.
G35's - Common in my area for people between 18-25. Riced out like Civic's alot, SADLY. If I owned a G35, it would look Stock.

Enough Rambling.

Try the Rogue out. It's good all Terrain, very Reliable. Not as fun to drive, but i heard if you buy the model with paddle shifters it's really fun.

Had my Rogue for 5-6 months, about 1500-1800 miles on it.

Sister has an Altima, about 500 miles on it.

Both me and her drive my Rogue. She fits in it well, I'm afraid if i grow another 3-4 inches, My head will touch the Roof :X

My wife and I have decided to use less energy wherever possible so the first thing to go was the Explorer and I don't regret it one bit.

I also feel that I've bought American Made cars all these years and in the end, it didn't matter as their own greed and short sightedness did them in anyway.

So it was quality and efficiency in design and energy that helped me decide on the Rogue
i don't see rogue doing any better than Ford Explorer.
