I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what plenum spacer i should get for my 2006 Z, part of the reason i ask is a lot of spacers i have found on the internet say they are only for the 03-05 models but i can hardly find any for 2006 Z's also i want to keep my stock front strut bar. So does anyone have any recomondations on what i should get?

you don't need one... you will lose powerYour lower plenem has shorter runners which is why the 06 has more HP and less TQ... Thus making more room for air would be too much and a drop in power. CAI is all you need. If you save your pennies, ZEX wet nitrous system is $695.00. Or if you are stuck on the intake, save up and by an aftermarket manifold - ex: Kinetix Racing SSV (~ $800).

From what I hear you actually lose power with the ssv, which is why i stuck with with the V+.

Yeah it looks nice, if I were to change around a few things in that department I'd get the cosworth.

I also have the V+ but he has the rev-up lower plenum so this would be like adding a spacer... Also the SSV has been redesigned like the V+ has (went from composite plastic to kevlar) and is further proven not to decrease power.... also is very good for f/i applications.

Is that the set up you hve on your car?

I have the 5/16" Copper Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer and I am happy with the gains I got out of it. I am very interested in the MREV2 and want to know someones personal opinion on it before I go out and pick it up.

I'm actually getting the MREV2 from another local Z owner here. Liked what I've been hearing about it, combined with the 5/16" ISO Thermal Spacer. Spacer is in right now. MREV2 will go in, once I get it.
