I wanna get either of the two but I'm not sure if there is a difference in just getting a nice spacer or changing it out all togethor. Kinetix is the only one I've found so far that allows room for the stock strut bar so if I was gonna go all the way might as well as get that. Any experience or opinions on this one? I plan on getting a stillen intake with it but do you think there would be any problems with them togethor?

Most who replace the whole plenum have quite a few mods or forced induction. The spacer is a good bang for your buck mod, can't go wrong there.

I have the Skunk2 plenum spacer on 350 which works with the OEM strut bar. It deff gives you some power, but I don't like the make of it. The guy that had the car before me put it on. I am looking at the Motordyne copper 5/16" ISO Plenum Spacer, the only reason I want copper is becaus it snows a good amount durrin the winter in my area. They also just have a regular spacer that is the same price.

If you do get the Plenum you are probably gonna have to buy a aftermarket strut. APS makes a good strut that goes out infront of the plenum but you would have to take the engine cover off the car to have the strut on there, which shouldn't be too big a deal.

The setup that I am eventually going to go with is the Motordyne 5/16" spacer, Motordyne ISO Thermal MREV2 manifold, and the APS Tall-Boy Intake plenum.

I have the motordyne 5/16" copper iso thermal plenum spacer on my z and couldn't be happier with the gains per dollar that i got out of it.

I was considering putting a plenum spacer (5/16") when i first purchased my Z. What is the real actual gains. I am aware of the advertised hp gains, but has anyone actually dynoed their cars with it? And will a 1/2" clear the stock strut tower bar? Thanks in advance.

Personally, if I could go back before I bought the 5/8" spacer, I would go with the Kinetix composite plenum. It's not aluminum, and stays cooler, and already has the spacer "built in".

Oh i've seen those. Mezz has one on right? It's a big ticket in california especially it being not so inconspicuous. I was interested in a spacer because it's easier to hide.

With the G We can put the Engine cover over the Kinetix V+ plenum. Not sure what engine covers the Z has. So No one would really notice.
