Well, the time has come. I just got an HS13 that had (ahem) valve timing problems. sooooo i'm yanking the block out. I'm going to transplant it once it's blueprinted and built and into my MS13 in turbo form. My goal is to have 350-400hp at the crank and still daily drive it. Response is very important to me. This car will be doing track racing and sutch so durability is very important.I've got some questions for all you KAT gurus out there:What turbo should should i use to get this hp# but still get good low end response? Is ceramic coating valves, rings and pistons a good long term move? How does one install an oil sprayer system in the block?Thanx in advance.

Yep, and you have to use a 10mm 12pt socket to take them out (Nathan learned this this weekend). Cleaning them out is a good idea too, two of mine were gunked up with old gel-like oil.

MS13 is a chasis code. it means M=DOHC

Could I run high compression pistons with a boost controller set to low boost for daily driving on 97 octane, and then when it's time to fly with 104 octane turn up the boost? is this possible? and would it give me the hp that I need to race with, but still be reliable on low boost daily driving on 97 octane?

*ahem* M stands for the KA24DE, H stands for KA24E, P is the SR20DET... ie MS13, HS13, PS13 (feel free to add an R to any of those...)
