My parents bought me the 2003 G35 coupe about a month ago.. Til now I've being waking up happily every single day to go to school. Yet I am still not satisfy with what I have(I know... I am spoiled). So I am planning to do a major change for my car once when I graduate because my parents promise me to give me 10k. I am planning to do a engine swap and a manuel trans. Unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about them. Can anyone that has done it or knows about it to give me some suggestion??

No offense, but umm,why would you swap engines. The engine in the car is a great engine. I would just throw that money into some minor modifications like the jwt popcharger/ztube and mrev2. Then go spend the rest on some body parts, rims, and a turbo kit. That should just about cover the 10g's,and then you should be set,or even better, take the 10g's,and put it into a house or a condo, then you can have a nice car,and a place to stay other than mom's and pops. This way when you pull the cute chick, you don't have to say we have to be quiet otherwise we will wake up my room mates...(mom and dad),but if you do want parts...here ya go...

1.)jwtpopcharger/ztube/mrev22.)body kit,the GReedy G kit is nice and can be had for 1200 on vfiber.com3.) Nice set of rims...nothing to fancy though, like 1800 dollar range...4.) Big item...GReedy twin turbo or jwt twin turbo like 5700 bucks

voila....kick *** car in 10g's.

I am just worry that the engine won't be able to hold up.. Cuz it has like 55k miles on it already... I've already put like 9k on it since I got it...

Well you would need to get forged internals then. Probably do some transmission work, that wouldn't hurt either.

I know what your thinking...you want a manual right? Your best bet is to sell the auto, and buy a 6MT. Converting any new car from auto to manual would likely cost more than your 10k budget. It's not like the old days...

+1 on the forced induction...if money is burning a hole in your pocket.

This reminds me of the movie Payback with Mel Gibson...." My Daddy never bought me a Ferrari for my birthday, I had to steal my first one."
