Does this sound right for my feed line ?

-3AN feed line... going to buy 1 -4AN female to -3AN male fitting to mate up with the banjo bolt that goes to my turbo.

Going to buy 1/8 BSP to -4AN male fitting for oil pressure sensor.

KA-T on the way!

ok so ive been researching this heavily and i just want to make sure i got it right. a -3AN line can be ran off the sandwich plate/oil filter to the top side of the turbo and a -10AN line ran from the bottomside to the oil pan. where you put the T fitting near the sensor, what does that run to? an oil pressure gauge? sorry, im just trying to get this whole thing straight. thanks

you have everything right.... the 'T' is to be able to retain the stock oil pressure sender, and allow the tap in for the feed line. you dont need to run the stock sender unit and can just tap the feed line straight into the oil filter housing. just be sure you use a bspt-npt adapter for the oil filter housing. theres also a way where you can run both without the 'T' by unscrewing the allen plug next to the sender unit on the filter housing. its bspt as well.... its almost as if nissan had our backs from the get go for turbo apps.

I have a quick question for you guys. Today, I installed a BB T28 and have already ran the drain line with no problem. I'm trying to run the feed line and until I read this thread, I couldn't find a fitting that would thread into the block. Now I know I need 1/8 BPST fitting. My question is, I have a brass "t" that connects the block fitting (which I will be getting tomorrow), the sending unit, and then my feed line. I bought an oil restrictor from ATP ( http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...-OIL2 ), and I can't find a way to thread the larger end into ANYTHING. It's just too large in diameter. I can thread the restrictor end into my steel braided line, but I have no way to fit it to the block. Anyone have any recommendations?*mike*

Like in the picture next to the oil filter there is a "T" fitting, you can use that for the feedline that goes into the turbo. Is that what you are talking about? JGS makes a complete oil line kit which works really good.

I have a brass "t" for my feed line that the sending unit and the actual feed line thread into. My questuon is that I don't have a way to run the restrictor that I purchased from ATP. The threading on the "feed" side of the fitting is too large to fit into the brass "t". So how are people running them?*mike*

I used the jgs restrictor kit for my set up and i put my restrictor right before the turbo. it sounds like you need to take the 2 pieces that you are trying to put together to like a hydralic hose place that makes hydralic hoses and they have all kinds of fittings there. just show them what you are trying to do and they can probly sell you the adapting piece or pieces that you need to make it work. they shouldn't cost much and they should be help you easily. good luck hope this helps.

Since it was bumped I'll add my little modification to my oil to turbo setup.

Basically I bought the JGS T3/T4 oil kit. Used the oil return stuff (just had to cut the return line an inch or so, so that it would have a dip in it.

For the sending lines I was using a Tee at the filter block and running the line under the engine. Decided I didn't want to chance it breaking. So bought an 18" briaded line and a 4' line. Used the the 18" from the filter block to the Tee on the strut tower area with piece of metal quickly fabbed to hold it. From there the 4' line behind the engine to the turbo and aftermarket oil pressure sensor on the other side of the Tee.

Could be made prettier one day, but works for now. Just an option.

I'll also add my setup since this thread has been bumped. My feed side is similar to Biggie's but I used an oil filter sandwich adapter plate and ran 2 lines from that; one to my oil pressure sender and one to the turbo. The oil pressure sender line was made at a hydraulic place near my house and the feed line is the JGS one. The return line is -10AN all the way.
