Too late, my S13 is already pretty cowish. When I painted it white, I did a jackass job and since I dont care, I just leave it looking all spotted. It only looks this way at night and dusk, sorta like ghost spots. I swear, one of these days I'll get some horns for it like boss hog.

And now the project has taken a turn that actually interests me. Today we finally began work on building up our turbo 4AG. The 4AG doner motor comes out of a 92, one which the intake manifold faces the wrong direction. We already have another intake manif to replace this, and we are working on fitting and sizing our intercooler piping. The doner turbo is comming off a Saab, and only pushes 5 or so lbs of boost, so we should be safe atm w/out redoing the compression of the motor, but further tests will be run. Our exhaust manifold was designed by myself and fabricated here on base, allowing plenty of space for the turbo and exhaust piping to clear the steering. Our intercooler will be donated probably by myself, giving away my former SMIC from my 200sx.

We actually have some video of the car when it started for the first time, I'll have to dig that up.

No loss if you didnt see it sooner, just the ongoing log of NICO's biggest crapbox car =)

Some bonus photos, us tearing down the first of many 4ag's for this project.

Motor was from a AE92, we were pulling the head off to see what the issue was with compression.

Upon getting the head off, we found the problem area. #4 cyl was quite beat up. We wound up making a coffee table out of the block and were still deciding what to do with the head.

Nothing, although my buddy Jay, who spent time in Okinawa, is probably Mulisha or something along those lines.

@Mr1der: Tbird > crapbox junkyard Corolla. This is easily the crappiest car I've ever worked on, and my S13 back in the states was in pretty bad shape with its blown motor and such. I'd love to see pics or hear about how bad of shape your tbird was in, as I'm a restoration fiend.

i dunno 250 dollars for an sr5? seems kind of pricey, my dad bought 2 GTS hatches for 1000 and one coupe for 200 dollars, well he bought back in 2000, before that whole initial d crap.

Yea, pretty much. Euro to dollar conversion is a killer, pretty much the reason I rarely go shopping here.

I've always wanted one of those. I may make one out of my KA someday but I can't think of anything to do with the head other than saving it. It could prove usefull.

For the table, we took the block, welded the rods to it, placed suction cups on the pistons, and threw a glass sheet on top. Boom, insta-table (well, not quite that simple, but you get the point).

The head, we took it, stripped it. Flipped it upside-down and were the valves used to be, we plant grass from all the locations we at S***head Racing have traveled (all over europe, russia, japan, etc).

Well damn, now that make our table not look that great/original =/ Next thing you'll tell me is that people have already made golf clubs out of transmission components and pistons.

We did it more as a joke. There is a golf course here on base, so we took a blown KA and made 1 wood and 3 irons out of it. To counterbalance the wood, we made the back side of it the putter. We mainly did it as a joke, as everyone out there takes everything seriously, then you see Sh**head Racing roll up with a dufflebag jammed full of nasty flat white golf club like objects. They work terribly, I'll tell you this. I think the best I ever shot on 9 holes is around 12ish over. They're a blast at the driving range though.

I'll see if I can get some pics of us using them the next time we go out.
