Well I have as yet done nothing to the chassis but have just been slowly collecting parts. Still no panels but I did get ducting and closing panels most of which had R5 on them (ie from my car). I have now found one of the engineering shops in Reading that originally machined parts. They have some of the original TWR drawings but most have been thrown away. They have the CNC tapes but have lost the index which I guess means that you cannot use the tapes now. Still they gave me a box of parts like suspensions mounts clevices fule tank mounts and seal covers etc. All helps; Best I get my own copy of the designs for the designer then I might discover what some of these parts are!

So did anything ever come of those pics of Chassis R5 of that R390 amsoil? Were pictures ever posted anywhere? Have you made any more headway on putting her back together?

I like how in the first Hakosuka picture, it looks like the old man is about to attack the person in the car with a hacksaw for sneaking pictures of his GT-R!
