Installed the cmod grill yesterday. I ran into some problems installing it so will probably have to go back and fix it. The tabs for the top were to big and I was at a friends house so didn't have the tools to cut it.

Haven't decided where I am going from here....what u think?1) leave it the way it is2) Remove the center support bar3) Put a gunmetal nissan emblem in the middle of the grill

Here are the pics like i promised. also headlights are laminex film (smoke in color). Hope you guys like.

I tried to get all angles, If you have any questions or want any other pics just let me know.

I think it looks good!but i only like it on black coupes.it goes with your whole "sporty" look.and as for the support bar...i dont think its good or bad.If you leave it, fine. if u take it off, fine.so IMO i say leave as is!

Looks good man, especially with the wheels!I'd either replace the bracket or throw on a painted burger.

thanks for the feedback. I've never dealt with painting stuff before. I figure I would tackle painting a burger gunmetal before painting the radiator black. all good suggestions. I'm just happy to be rid of the honeycomb grill eventhough it matched my nismo rims.

did you paint that at all? just curious because I have black too and it looks sick.

I wanted to get like a NISMO or Nissan badge for the upper right corner though, don't know where I could find that.

yup, its not a big deal tho, few clips and screws. I would recommend having a friend help you pull the bumper off so you dont scratch the clearcoat like i did.

good luck

i did not paint the grill. they recommend you paint the bottom section to match the car but i like the flat black how it comes.

The bumper needs to be removed for installation. It's not that hard to do, the write up on this forum helped alot exceprt they forgot one piece.

follow the write up but REMEMBER there are also 5 clips under the bumpr that need to be removed as well.

the only problem I had with the grill was the tabs on the top of the fiberglas grill were to big and need to be cut down to fit in the opening on the bumper. I was running out of sunlight so i just secured it with zip ties and plan on finishing it when I install some yellow hid fogs and possibly the DANGERIS copyrighted ozonium strip lol but yellow leds

heels you dont need to take the tabs out of the bottom of the bumper, that makes it harder if you are alone! Just drop the top when you are by yourself! You can take the grill out from there!

Im kinda sad you arent coming to D1 on saturday, you have a nice AC but havent been to a meet yet!
