yea i have new ones..but one looks better than the new one megan sent me..for some reason it looks thicker like its metal..anyway i separated the oem mani from the turbo and also the turbo outlet..i couldnt get the studs out the oem mani so i took the megan racing mani i have and the turbo to work with me today and got some new studs and bolts and bolted the megan racing mani to the turbo. I also put on the mr turbo outlet i got..ill post some pics later when i get home..

megan mani attached..im not sure if this is the catch can or not..can somebody enlighten me on that?..but anyway it hits the turbo mani..can i jus eliminate it and do this?? lol some one help me out please!anyway last night i wired up the dash harness. I got the wiring diagram from frsports.com. I wrapped the unused wires in electrical tape individually so they wont touch..and then tried to make it neat buy taping them together..i have two wires that are lose on the right side of the ecu plug..there the last wires on the top and bottom of the plug. they're both black so i was thinking they were grounds?i also took the upper water neck off..and redid the gasket wit some gray silicone..now im starting on the intake side..im tryin to separate the intake by the upper..then the collector and the throttle body. I took all the screws out jus to get the upper off but for some reason it's not comin off. i tried to pry it...no go. i broke my oil cap while i was at it.. can anyone help?I need a new one of these..its not the fuel rail it's the one behind it that connects the hose to the pcv..if anyone has one for sale let me kno!!

I believe you're suppose to put a bead of liquid gasket, not smear it. Also, as for the catch can, the manifold WILL eliminate its position so you have to either remount it else where, or get another catch can and mount it somewhere around the car.

For getting that manifold off, there's a bracket on the IACV hose connected to the manifold right above the throttlebody, make sure that's loose and there's the two hoses coming off the coolant and water lines right up under the manifold.

well i put silcone on the block..and my friend is the one that smeared the on the water neeck itsself but it should hold up good since i put it on both sides..and thanks on the info for the catch. I thought that was the problem but wasnt sure thanks for clearing that up.

Looken good for sure! Also would like to mention, if you plan on installing an oil pressure gauge, I would recommend installing the pressure sender unit NOW while the engine is out. I struggled with mine when the engine was on simply because of the limited space thats avaliable. But its up to you.

A week or so. What kind of gasket maker did you use on that thermostat, I'm thinking about changing mine.

I used gray RTV silicone..im a counter guy at an auto parts store and i see a lot of shops ordering the gray silicone to do waterpump and thermostat jobs so i decided to use gray..plus that is what was used b4 hand.

i dont kno if you guys saw my post about resurfacing my fidanza flywheel but i did order a new friction plate surface today from no limit motor sports. They said it should be coming in tomorrow and hopefully it does. I also have my iacv gasket coming in tomorrow so ill b able to put my intake side back together. my turbo timer harness is coming in as well so ill be able to hook that up. I still need some dohc power steering lines, i found a zenki at a junk yard im going tomorrow to see about getting the lines from there. Last but not least I have to get a q45 ignitor chip. I found one from a 92 at the junkyard which they said they'll give to me for $40 is that a good deal..however i was trying to find a 95 and up first so i can jus direct plug in..post your opinions and suggestions please!!

the pcv valve is located in the valve cover. Its towards the back near the intake side. U'll see a hose going from the valve cover to the rail on the intake mani near the fuel rail..ill post pics up when i get home right now im at work but will be off shortly. I had to come in for a little on my day off..

ok i did some work today..my iacv gasket came in today so i put my intake side back together all cleaned up n with new gaskets... then i installed the new slave cylinder. heres the old one that came with it..heres the new one on the transmission its made by raybestos..i also changed the rear transmission seal. old oneand heres the new one on the transmission..I read the thread about find out what year your motor was produced so i tried that out. I pulled the first coil pack and saw that it had 12 on numbers 1 and 2. three only had one dot so if im correct it was produced january of 1993. Some one correct me if im wrong..Then i installed some greddy ras i had..I was looking at this thread zerothread?id=224734 and this guys said u can either leave that plate there and cut it to fit or u dont have to use it..my question is should i cut it like he did or jus dont use it id figure id ask you guys opinion first??????if you guys think i should cut it to fit then im goin to take it to work tomorrow and do so. All i have to do now is the front and rear main seal and change easy stuff like the belts. Im going to the junk yard tomorrow to find some p/s lines..please post yer info and opinions!!
