Yeah a multimeter is what you want they are about $25. No prob with the help, I will always help if i can. I am replaceing my turbo after only 500 miles of it being on the road, but my seals were leaking bad from the beginning, and boost is so fun!

ok idk if i was doing this right but im tryin to find out what is causing me not to get any spark. I bought a multimeter and tested my ignitor, it was gettin resistance threw and to the other side. so i went up too the coilpack plug and was gettin it there too. Then i tested the plugs that goes to each coil pack and all four were good. Im not sure how to test my coils but i put it to that and i got nothing. Lol im not sure if im doing this right can someone help me out on how to figure out whats not working?

Just ground your spark plugs manually. Do this by pulling out each spark plug invidiually and putting them on the coilpack, then have the spark plug touch anywhere on the block. Have a friend, or someone try to turn it on. You shoud see an obvious spark. Based off of what you have told us on how you tested it, it you still don't see any spark from ALL coilpacks, I would assume its your ECU, or wiring on the ignitor.

If some, or 1 coilpack is getting spark, try swapping out coilpacks with the ones that arn't working. You might just have bad coilpacks.

In the FSM there's a way to test the coilpacks as well with a multimeter, its really SIMPLE, I forgot how you do it though, but iirc you just test for resistance.

I had a no spark issue for a while. Ended up being my wiring lol I was stupid and had some wires touching from the ignitor plugs.

i have the same spark problem, with my injectors and spark plugs

the whole shabang is not getting current, but the starter cranks over and I tried two ecu's.

I need to sit down and look at my connections, everything is in, but I might be mistaken.

Bad wiring, things touching that shouldnlt be, maybe would blow the ECU

Lookin good, but a fair warning, Id get something to hold that hose up away from your exhaust manifold otherwise you'll have a fire on your hands, trust me (the hose from the block to the valve cover that replaces the stock can)

if you don't have the ka dust collar you can trim 1 inch off of the sr collar with a sawzall to make it work. the gap is normal by the way
