i had an Iphone and entered all my phone numbers by hand to my M35x. I had to replace the phone. All the data to the phone was backed up on my computer. The new phone has all the same data as the original. Both iphones are paired with the car. Is there anyway to get this phone to use the phonebook in the car from the other phone or do I need to reenter all the numbers and names? Thanks.

how do u make the iphone hook up to the bluetooth in the car it doesnt work on mine but my other phones worked in the car

If you have already put the numbers into your bluetooth phonebook in the car, there is no need to re-enter. The bluetooth system tells your phone the number to dial - there is no need to even have the number in your phone (though you probably would want to...).

I've tried asking this before with no success and have even tried the dealer (with no success either). How do you edit or delete existing entries in the phone book? I have to edit a few number and for the life of me cannot figure out how? Some mentioned pulling up the entry and then 'using the keyboard' function to edit or delete the entry. I'd love to do that but can't find the keyboard (or any other function) after pulling up names in the phone book except to dial. Short of sitting in the trunk and opening the gas door while touching the spare tire I feel like I've tried everything else and hit every button on the dash to make this happen ... how do you edit/delete single entries in the phone book (06 M35). Any help would be appreciated.Mark
