Last two days 3 out of 4 times get in the vehicle the phone screen shows as if a call is in progress, including the timer counting. Phone is not in use. It won't 'cancel' out of that screen until we press all the buttons in no particular order, then switch to Nav, then press the little phone button, then back to Nav and repeat. Or something like that. It's very reminiscent of the way the MyFordTouch would behave... which is to say that it's doing exactly what the hell it wants to do, but doesn't tell you what it is and won't stop. Thought at first it was uploading the phonebook... but that's already there.

I'm almost certain that if I take it in for this, it won't do it that particular time. We've turned the Bluetooth on the phone on and off, no help.

Any suggestions?

I had the same thing at first and was wondering if my phone was acting up. Turns out my phone (a Nokia 925) was actually trying to tell me I had a text message. It's weird...it looks as if it's a phone is trying to make a call but it's just the phone's way of interfacing with the car stereo system. I had to turn up my Bluetooth volume on my phone to hear that it was notifying me of a text.

Hi, I don't have an SL but my SV was doing something similar last week. When dialing a number the counter would begin but no call was made and no sound from speakers so I removed my phone from the setup/settings page on the radio and reinstalled it again. Problem solved so far. Hope it helps. In other words unregister you cel from the car's bluetooth and set it back up.

We shut down and powered the phone back on... and so far, problem gone. Maybe Verizon pushed something without forcing a reboot when it actually needed one. Weird.
