never heard of it before, and after looking at it i would say stay away from it. for such a cheap price i am sure the metal used is poor in quality, come on the thing is painted up chrome and they are throwing in springs!?!? and i would also be unsure of how well it would actually perform.

try & tell, ipp sells some good, but also some bad stuff.

if it works, let us know!.

(its probably like buying a obx lsd, it might for some but not for others)

Fork out the extra 50 bones for the OBX helical.I know of 2 individuals running it with no problems.Fortunately, I was able to get an S15 helical cheaper (its kinda hard to hate EBay sometimes) otherwise I would have gone with the OBX myself. To say that I am wary about the Phantom Grip is an understatement.Good luck.

Is the obx trouble free when installing?

The one cat I would hang out with installed it himself and then had the lash and pinion set at a shop. It was pretty close to spot on, so he paid a minimal fee. Something like $40 with new seals installed all around.
