Pezi, That is a beautiful truck. You have made quite a machine. :dblthumb:

I was invited to our local autoX... I have 2 weeks to get my truck done w/ any and all bugs stomped out. I have some old school mags 8" for the front an 10's for the rear and a set of drag radials. Need to learn to drive it all over again this next week. If I do or don't I'll post some vids of our 8 miles of curves called 'Buckhorn'. I'll be sure to recount the corners. We lost 2 or 3 this last December.

Update from today's event, 8/8/10

First run of the day. Cold tires? Yep... a little drifting on 275 Hoosiers is fun...

Fast run of the day, but still +1 cone... these days happen I suppose...

due to various reasons... the truck didn't make it through every event this year... but it does make me happy to say that as of now it sits in the lead in the local EP standings and will be attending its final event of the season on sunday the 19th for the local trophy!

Thanks and your truck looks really good.

I don't typically see very many trucks at autocrosses, what made you decide to use a truck for autocross?

lol im in college to so I know what your sayin, but do you think 275/35/15 would be a bit to wide to use on a 15x9 rim?

no it'll be fine... the reason people use them on the 15x10 is because the 10" wheel stretches the tire out for the optimal grip... it'll still work fine on a 15x 9 tho

Just want to thank those that came out to the track... and those that followed along this year for all the support. The season was overall a good time, but there is always more to be done.

The winter will be dedicated to more lightening and balancing... as well as a few basic maintenance issues. We'll see how it goes!

I will be making one last event before it goes in the garage for work on the 17th of this month, and will post videos!
