I AM STRONGLY THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH THE CA OVER THE SR. SO I FIGURED THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO POST MY QUESTION.

WHAT PERFORMANCE SITES DO YOU GUYS USE TO BEEF UP THE CA? WHAT ARE YOUR FIRST MODIFACATIONS WHEN YOU GET THE MOTOR RUNNING?

THE MORE OPTIONS I HAVE FOR PERFORMANCE PART PURCHASES, THE STRONGER MY MOVE WILL BE TO PURCHASE THE CA. SO ANYTHING IS IN FACT EVERYTHING.

in all honestly i have a ca, and i kinda wish i went sr because of a few reasons mainly: aftermarket for sr is much easier to obtain. Also higher displacement is nice if u want to upgrade ur turbo since, i hate lag.

As Avery said, the CA can be hard to get parts for. It's an old motor and most places don't support it anymore. There is some growing support here in the states that seems to offset the diminishing support for it in Japan. If you want a motor that is easy to build and parts can be readily found, the CA is NOT the motor for you. You generally have to have A LOT of patience and time to get this motor built well. Many parts will have to be custom made and will cost more than the comprable SR part.
