Pcv System

So i am new here. Um i was wondering what is affected on a s13 dohc ka when u remove the pcv system. I have heard that u can do this, i have heard not to, but then i have been told that it is personal preferance. Also is anything affected if u remove the charcoal canister? dont worry i know that u have to seal off all of the vacuum lines/holes when u remove some of these things, so let me know what u think
