NFS sucks IMO, so unrealistick physics, the best car games are on PS2 ( GT3, duh...) and X Box ( progect Gotham, Sega GT, and, the best: RallySport!)

Ok, I absolutely love NFS:Hot Pursuit 2. I bought GT3 on a friend's suggestion, I was rather disappointed. :( While the idea of the role-playing aspect of the game is great, the way the cars handle is horrible. Where NFS's physics falter, GT3's lack of real handling plumets. At 35mph, my car couldn't keep traction for **** in a soft, banking turn. WTF is that? Pathetic, absolutely sad. That game made me so frustrated....Anyone else feel this way?

No, I dont feel this way......I love the game, sad though, it has taken over my life since awaiting AM. I played Sega GT and it is awsome. I wanna buy an X-Box just because of that! I was playing with a Mazda Cosmo! Hale yeah! There are lots you can do in the game too.

i dont know what your talking about, but GT3 is one of the most realistic car games out on the market. Im sure your exaggeration about the 35mph turn thing, but have you ever tryed going around a 90 degree turn at an intersection in real life at 35 mph on crappy stock sized tires? your chances of making it would be ZERO. unless you are a champion Drift driver...

thanks for the back-up j-spec :)

IT's harder cause it is more REAL, Cars dont just bounce off guard rail and keep going liek in NFS (granted... Runing from the cops IS fun) :)

omfg what a lame post is what i have to say. you obviously didn't give the game a chance. Damn, I STILL play this game. In fact, I just did. NFS blows. GT4 will conquer all.

GT3 is the only one that comes close. Some XBOX games maybe too, I wish I had an XBOX... Gotham and soon Apex, and of course Halo, but that's a different story.

I've got three words for you.

Sega GT Online

This fall...check it out.

http://www.gamesdomain.com/news/9167.html

I got Sega GT 2002 as part of the bundle when I got my Xbox. I love this game. I've played the hell out of it. I went through the whole thing once, and now I've started over.

I've got my turbo 240Z sittin' in the virtual garage right now. ;)

I also just bought Rallisport Challenge brand new for only $20.

The cool thing about Rallisport Challenge & Sega GT 2002 is that they let you use music ripped to your Xbox as the in-game soundtrack.

Colin McRae Rally 3 looks cool too...probably gonna get that one too.

I don't realy like any racing games for the PC. I look to the consoles for a good racing game. of course GT3 rules. Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero was pretty fun. The consoles are where the market for those games are so you'll see more good racing games there. There isn't a good market for racing games on the PC so you'll be hard pressed to find a good one.
