Pathfinder Dash Board

1992 4WD Pathfinder 147K Miles V6 Auto

On the dash, there is a toggle switch that has"E-AT" and under these letters are "Auto" and "Power"

What does this switch do? Is it something with the 4WD?

I don't have the owner's manual and the Hayes book I bought was useless.

I think you will find that the switch changes the way your transmission shifts. The shifts should be more agressive in the Power position.
