Painted manifold covers?

any of you guys paint yours out there? i did mine with a light coat of yellow acryllic, and got bored and threw in a little pattern for fun. got the look i was going for.

not a bad idea, looks like you might want to give the yellow another cote though

nah, i thought about it, but i like the "incomplete" look more than the "flush" look.

i'm a tattoo artist, i do weird things when it comes to art. i'll probably add a coat of a more gloss yellow down the road, but i'm happy with it now

yes I used Duplicolor and cleared it with the wheel clear.....I live in Hemet

Highway 74, hemet to palm desert. we used to do that run every week after in n out meets. haha. cool place

i just used adhesive promoter some red paint and wheel clear.the heat in the engine basically cooks it for me so...yay

Dude!You Cant use just any paint!WHat type did you use?

we've proven that this car does not need high heat paint when painting the manifold...if we did, the manifold cover would not be plastic, also...have you removed it? underneather the valves/pipes/wtvr are actually harder plastic as well...hmmm yes

You are telling me the "MANIFOLD" doesnt need high heat paint? Or the Manifold "COVER" doesnt need it?

Anyway, that looks like Art paint!

I have Not removed anything, I Have about 2k on the car.

It looks good, but im quite worried about the wiring over the battery there, it doest look very safe.
