It's called pre-mixing, rotary engines have been doing it for years to keep things lubed up inside of combustion chambers. Try a two-stroke oil... I know ams oil works for rotaries, but I'm not really sure if it'd be the same for this app, as rotaries burn oil when they're running correctly.

I just mixed in 1/2 gallon of toulene into 4.5 gallons of 94 octane gas, to yield 96 octane...and put in an ounce of marvel mystery oil (got it at pep boys)...and then went for a 30 mile ride.

Impressions (Note, under 8 psi of boost). Not much of a noticeable increase in power (also note, I'm running alcohol injection), although it did seem to run a little bit better. Was it worth $8.45 a gallon? It seemed to have a little more oomph in the top end, and ran a bit smoother. I'll say yes and no, it'll depend on what I have for money when it comes time to fill up my gas tank again. But adding one gallon of this stuff to 13 other gallons will give me about 95.5 octane...which should be enough.

Now I should turn up the boost another pound with this new high=octane gas and see how she runs :)

Damn it...you guys were right. The dolt I was talking about had this stuff already mixed in a big 55 Gal drum. I guess he just purchased the drum with x amount of gallons remaining and filled the rest up with 93 octane gas. And the twit told me he was running the stuff straight...

Oh well, guess I'll just not take his information to heart from now on...

I ran Xylene in my GN a couple of times, it works. I mixed it 33% with 93 octane for roughly 100 octane.
