Paint Color Suggestions

Hey guys, I am getting some paint work done on my Q50 and I am looking for a Black that has like a blue metallic flake in it.... I would like to use something that can be found as a factory paint code in case I ever have to get a panel repainted. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. The car is going into the paint shop on Monday!!!

Reminds me of a quote I like by Henry Ford, "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black"... ha! Sorry I don't know the answer to your question. I searched a bit and couldn't figure it out on my own. I did find that Dodge has a color called "Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl" that is a black with metallic flake. That's about it.

Thanks, I will have to look it up. I know that Ford has Tuxedo Black which is close to what I am looking for but it has yellow, red and blue flake in it.

Yeah, I couldn't tell from the discussions if the flake had a specific color to it. The way I read, it seems like it was just metal (silver) flake and not a dyed color like yellow, red, etc. I wish my chassis was worthy of paint. Good luck with yours!
