Hello all, Tomorrow I am heading to ASpec in So Cal to be one of the first 5AT G35 to get test fitted for an OEM stering wheel paddle shifter kit. ...yes that is right a paddle shifter kit for your OEM stering wheel. My understanding is that if my car setup goes smoothly tomorrow they should start selling them in two to three weeks. Kits are I think sell for $398 and come from a Japaneez company called Works Bell. Will let you know how the test fit goes tomorrow and how it works. If it works well I will give you ASpec's info.

Hello everyone,The install went well that the paddle shifters works better than I ever expected. My only suggestion is to get your valve body upgraded so it will shift quicker, if you would like to see what they look like go to:

Utilization: Nissan 350Z (Z33)/ INFINITI (G35) 5AT cars

Steering wheel application: factory OEM steering wheel

Many Z33/G35 AT owners have expressed a desire to be able to shift via steering column paddles unfortunately no option existed, up until now. Much to the elation of many Z33/G35 owners, Works Bell has developed a special paddle shifter kit for the Z33/G35 that can be used with the factory steering wheel. The paddle shifter kit is well known by many Z33/G35 users because it can operate the AT sports shift mode without ever releasing the steering wheel. This kit was developed for those enthusiasts that want to combine the sporty feel of the factory steering wheel with an F1 style paddle shift feeling!

As I stated before the copmany that installed mine was "aspec" here is their web link and info, ask for Logan and tell him Jeremy sent you. They are selling them for $398.00

Sorry to tell you this, but there is a do it yourself article for this in the G mod database. The owner got it on ebay for about 100 bucks and did an article with photos for a writeup.

I looked under where you stated you saw it. I didnt see that article, is it arclived or under 350Z mods?

Did the article state that the paddle shifter kit use the OEM steering wheel for 2002-2005 5At G35/350Z? Most of the kits out there and from what I have seen need to use an after market steering wheel, which means you loose the safety of an airbag and you loose the sterio and cruse control steering wheel functions. This was the only kit that didnt do that.

But if the guy found it on Ebay and only paid $100 bucks good for him. But I have looked and never saw anything like that, most used after market steering wheels.

Hi 1stoptuner,yes I do have a 5AT and I will try to get a video for you of me driving and shifting. I know the guys who installed the paddle shifters made a training video maybe I can get a link from them. It showed them driving my car and shifting.
