P1135 Pain

Hi everyone, I have a pain I can't seem to get rid of. The fateful P1135 code. I believe I had issues before with the other side of the engine but I can't recall the codes at that point (over a year ago). I know at one point I bought and installed a Dorman 907-739 sensor, can't recall which side I put it on unfortunately. I've done the oil flushes, and cleans, I don't think its related to gunk. I've also now replaced the actual solenoid on the driver side, idle seems a little bit better but code came back. Any thoughts on what to try next here? I can't count anymore how many threads I've ran through hoping to find solutions.

P1135 is bank2 (left). If that isn't the sensor you changed, you may have another bad one. Cam sensors frequently cause it. The early VQ's also had oil control plates behind the timing cover that could bleed off oil pressure from the IVT's if they sprang a leak. If the sensor doesn't help, try some thicker oil or an oil thickener. If that kills the code or makes it return more slowly, chances are there's a leak behind your cover. Doing that may cause other codes, but the idea is diagnosis.

So I believe theres 2 sensors on that side right? Would these guys be the ones I'd want to replace? I'd rather replace those before going oil change route (just put in clean stuff last week).

Since it's only the left bank throwing codes, the guy up top is most likely causing the issue. The bottom one is an opto that serves both banks and is a less-likely suspect.
