P11 headlight swap

i'm sure enough of you have done the single beam G20 to dual beam primera headlight swap to be of a little help. i've been looking into doing the swap myself, and i'm sure its easy enough, but all pictures of the pods i've seen (on ebay and other sites) have truncated wires for all the light connections.

are there any special modifications needed or is it a simple matter of cutting the wires on G20 models and connect them to "corresponding" wires on the Primera lights? Or, can the whole twist on/twist off light modules fit them? any help before i decide to buy, would be grately appreciated!
