Hi,

I am new to this forum. I have a 1997 Pathfinder XE. The check engine light comes on and my OBD2 reader gives me a P0136 code. I think this is O2 bank 1 sensor 2. Which side of the engine is this on, and where? I also have the ABS light on and when the dealer read the codes they said that three sensors were defective and they were $455.00 CDN a piece? Has anyone else had this problem. Is there possibly a wiring issue here?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The title of your thread is P0153??

Any how rear O2 sensor problems are not uncommon on the R50 model. it is the passenger side rear O2 located on the pipe just under the passenger foot area.

ABS code not sure on , dont hear to many failuers from them, what are the codes for? what sensors?

Yes, I could have been more descriptive in the title. Thanks for the information on the O2 sensor. The ABS codes that the dealer gave me said there were three bad sensors. Is there anything common that could cause this problem? I find it hard to believe that three wheel sensors have gone bad at the same time.

I agree with you, seems like something more moght be going on, unless you have mud packed up in there that would definitly cause the multiple codes.
