Just want to say before i get flamed, i searched the forum for a few minutes before making this thread but could only find topics about part outs.

Basically I'm looking to buy a 300zx as a summer car and be part of the elite car owners as you all are lol I simply need some help deciding between the N/A or Twin Turbo

Im wondering if the 3000$ is worth the extra 80 hp and the head turning chirp of the turbos blow off valve or if i should go with the smarter option and get a naturally aspirated z and make the switch later on in my lifetime...

few questions...Do these turbos have many issues?Expensive to fix these issues?I heard 300 zxs are expensive to fix in general, any difference between the years/body types/engines?

FYI im a university student with a little stack (5000-8000) to spend on this car and a daily jeep for the rough winters.... so considering all this, what do you suggest is best for me...

If there is a thread similar to this, i apologize and would appreciate if you could link me. Thanks!

Go with the TT.

My N/A has a lot of damn money invested into it and it makes about 210-220RWHP, given I'm still working on it.

With the same money invested into a TT you could be pushing 300+RWHP.

well with that being said, my buddy was in the same situation last year, long story short we drove down to ottawa to this place called Japan auto???? anywho we ended up driving out with a 91 300zx Twin turbo 2+2. Only 42,000kms, pretty mint shape for about $7,500 out the door. Only downfall to me is that its right hand drive.... but its the car is just like new, inside, out and underneath. Ive got a non turbo and all though its a blast to drive the twin turbo lights'em up at around 85-90 km/hr.
