Well, I had parked my car in my garage during the snow storm, when i parked it, it was running really really good. and I was excited to take it for a quick drive today. I let it warm up and began driving. Got to the gas station and noticed the temp gauge was high but it was like 2 degrees out so I figured the thermostat will open soon, It opened and all was fine, I got on the highway, and It just sky rocketed to the top, I change lanes to get to the off ramp and I tired to accelerate and it just wouldn't go. Oil Pressure and Battery Light popped on, I put it into Neutral and parked on the side. Once I stopped the whole car inside and out, turned white. I took out the spark plug wires and opened the oil fill cap and the white death kept spewing out, I let everything cool down. and It just wouldn't start. I'm hoping its just the head gasket but what do you guys think? The starter tries to go but I think it might be seized.

What should I do next?
I'm going to the towing yard tomorrow to see what I can do but I think I'm limited. The KA has 202k miles and I planned to do a swap in the spring but I wanted to hold onto the KA for just a little longer and keep saving for a proper swap.

Thanks,
James

Did the Rad freeze? Mine did that a couple of weeks ago, top hose was about to blow and the bottom hose had slush in it :tisk: .

I don't think so, we took a look at it today it doesn't look like It blew a head gasket but the starter doesn't want to turn it over, I'm kinda stuck here, is it a good assumption to say it might have seized?

That would be great assumption. Sounds like its time for a trip to the junkyard.

This has happened to alot of 240sx's what happens is most people run a 50/50 mix and that little bit of water in the colder areas still freezes idk why but its kinda common in 240's atleast here in pa it is. Anyway ya you probably sized your motor. So good time for a swap :mike

Yeah. Did you try turning the crank with a breaker bar? It's probably stilled phucked either way you look at it anyways.

your car overheated lost oil pressure began billowing smoke from the oil cap its safe to say its done if you dont have the money for a swap just go to a junkyard and pick up a long block (the head block and mani) and just swap over your accessories thats going to be the cheapest way looks like you get to spend the weekend drinking beers and swapping a motor ill be doin the same soon i just need to find an engine they are rare around here in hillbilly town kentucky
