No. I'm assuming you've noticed that your car revs higher than you think it should at 80MPH on the interstate? If so, sadly, this is normal. It will be at about 2900-3100 RPMs.

It's amazing that with 5 gears, they weren't able to make one of them suitable for cruising at speed...

Thanks for the reply, Funny thing is that I have had my 2005 G35X for 2 years, and just now am noticing. It "feels" like I am stuck in 4th at high speeds...

Maybe my soundproofing material needs replacing
