Over drive button

Hello All,
My issue is with the over drive button on the shifter in my 2011 Versa. It seems to have stopped working. Pushing the button does nothing... no light on the dash and no change in the CVT transmission. Any ideas? Is it a mechanical problem with the button itself or a larger one with the actual operation of the transmission?

It's an electrical switch the ties into the transmission control unit.
