Well my 3rd swap is done, took my Ca out for a drive and everything works. no leaks. My ca got new HG, and timming belt. .80 A/R Sr T25 turbo, Greddy Vspec FMIC, Walbro 255, And Koyo rad, stock exhaust with gutted cat) yes, I know I know. O! and also a working A/C.

The only problem I encounter is, OVER BOOST its seems like I have no Boost limit on my car..It will climb all the way to 1.22 bar and hit boost cut at around 5 rpm ( which sucks BTW I love my old Ca with same set-up @ 7k RPM), I check the waste gate line it's still in good condition no crack ( I replace it before the swap). so other than the waste gate line what else can cause over boost???O!! before I forgot I got Greddy SLD ( Speed Limit Defender) aswell..But it should have nothing to do with it. I'll post pics of my new baby soon.

what do u guys think??

did you make sure that your wastegate flapper is able to move? You should be able to move it by hand, though it will be tough.

The arm is moving, and I can hear the waste gate working ( the funny noise it make when u let go off the gas). I'm going to call my buddy to bring my EX-car over later today and double check the vac lines make sure I got it right. and I already totally bypass the hard line that run behind the engine, and using softlines now. But I'm going to check it with another line anyway. C

the funny noise is compressor surge if you dont have a bov, that has nothing to do with a wastegate, you should not be able to hear the internal wastegate on that small of a turbine. 1.2 bar is also High boost for your engine and fuel, i would NOT boost that high ever with your setup.

I have the same issue with my SR T25, the actuator (wastegate) is very hard to move, it has to be replaced.

In my case, it caused the turbo to blow one of it's seals. Im sure the same could happen to you.

could just be boost creep, although thats some serious boost creep. What is your wastegate spring set to?

well its a stock waste gate so it should be 7 psi?? not feeling like fooling with it today...maybe tomorrow. and yes I know 1.2 bar is way to high I ussually run .9 bar on my cars. thats why I'm looking for the source of the problem. C

your w/g is either seized shut or your actuator is messed up.
