Hi, there. I'm another one who is really curious about the Rogue and wondered if anyone who has actually driven one can comment on how it feels/performs compared to the RAV4, CRV, Forester, Outlander, etc?

Thanks so much.

Insideline.com claims that they will be posting one of these comparisons soon.

That inside.com is posted. Edmonds even puts an estimated tag of $28500 on their test vehicle. All is not perfect in this evaluation.

Excellent! Four reviews now on the Rogue. To sum up, most of the reviews are positive and I am still interested in checking out this rig when they hit the lot here in Washington state. The local dealer thinks they will get a few in around the last week of September or first week of October. My birthday... Seems the few complaints are about the small rear window (visibility issues) and the big glove box door (Hope it doesn't take the passengers legs off at the knees in a crash..). No one likes the 170 Horse engine mated to the CVT but realisticaly, it's a decently powered engine connected to a fuel saving transmission on a medium weight vehicle that is bulky and less aerodynamic than a sports car, so the complaints are not justified. The reason the Rogue has my attention is because it's a vehicle big enough to get groceries, haul my dogs, haul the occasional extra passengers to dinner (wife and I don't have kids) or the movies, get to work in foul weather (AWD of course), an auto tranny (hey, I'm 40, I'm sick of conventional stick shifting in this awful traffic every stinkin' day..), a sunroof, gets better gas mileage than my current SUV, and of course, leather seats. I don't need something more expensive that will guzzle gas or that's off road capable because I don't go offroad but once a year, if that and I don't need a mongo sized Hummer-ish 4 wheel drive to take up to the mountains every weekend. Don't try and force a round peg into a square hole. After reading these four reviews, it seems the Rogue pretty much offers the best of all the worlds: Sporty enough, roomy enough, robust enough, with good mileage with decent looks. I can't wait to test drive one. Keep linking the reviews folks! ~Mark
