*Note, this is not an ad for the car, so mods-don't remove*

My step-dad is looking to sell his 08' Touring, but there isn't a good market where we're at (Iowa). Craigslist can only go so far. I was going to have him put it on autotrader, but are there any good Z sites to put it up on? I'd like this car to go to someone who will fully appreciate it, hence putting it on a specific site. My350Z.com looks good, but what others would you guys recommend?

I could put it on here (I know), but I'm trying to reach as many as possible as well.

Thanks.

everywherehere, CL, any other Z specific forums, such as zcar.com

when I was looking I was checking everywhere, and for selling, anywhere you cna advertise for free, is where you want to advertize, local or regional car sites are another good place, traderonline.com, and cars.com both good sites but you gotta pay for play

do yourself a favor and search for similar cars for sale before makignt he listing, it kills me when people will have a car listed for monthc bumping threads repeatedly because theirs is priced more than other similar cars

my grandfather used to say "everythign sells today for the right price" you just gotta find that compromise of what you can accept

Thanks evildky. Appreciate it.

Unfortuneatly there isn't a Z club in Iowa, and I believe the closest is in Kansas City. But I will check there too.

I'd say autotrader. Its the easiest to search and broadly used.

Craigslist is alright, but quite limited when searching since a potential buyer has to go into each area's specific CL listing and search. Autotrader can be searched by radius so buyers in remote areas that might be within a certain radius might run across your Dad's Z much easier than on CL. Autotrader also has the run til it sells package as well. Just gotta make sure to renew it every few weeks.

Carmax.com they might give you the best money, but they can give you a ballpark how much you should ask for for your car. The way it works is when you take your car there, they appraise it. At the end, you have the option of taking the price they offer or leave and have 7 days to think about it. I took my Z last year for an appraisal, I might do it again soon.

...and it's free
