because 3 dealership service "specialists" couldn't. the consult connector under the dash is supposed to have 5 wires according to the fsm and those nissan techs. well, i have a 6th one in the spot #4 on the connector. is that for

Maybe that is a lead that goes over to the OBD II port on the passenger side above the ECU.

why would they connect the ddl to obdII? i need to know because my consult cable and software works only when the car is off and performs only the scanner functions - when the engine's running it doesn't detect the ecu at all and i'm wondering if it has anything to do with the extra wire.

anybody? can you guys at least look at your ddls and tell me if you have 5 or 6 leads? idk if it applies to anything else than a 95-96 since there's some differences after that.
