if it really bothers you, you can go to your Nissan dealer and buy a dozen. They're usually less than a buck each, and that will last you for a long time.
The crush washers used on the Hondas and Toyotas I have owned look like a regular washer. The Honda washer looked like a typical (aluminum?) washer. The Toyota washer is part black and part metallic looking. The Nissan washer on the other hand does not look like a washer at all. It has a strange cross section that crushes down to less than half of it's original thickness when the bolt is tightened. It is a copper color. It can be a real PITA to remove from the bolt sometimes to put a new one on. I am not sure how else to describe it. I have a few in the garage but don't know how to post pictures, and it would have to a very clear close up to capture the detailed (bizarre) shape.
When I saw the Versa washer for the first time, my first thoughts were, it is unlikely that the typical garage or oil change place (non-Nissan) would stock them or bother to use a new one. Again, I do not know how critical it is to always use a new crush washer. On my Toyotas I have used the same washer numerous times, but it just looks like a typical washer that doesn't appear to deform significantly when installed on a tighted bolt, like the Nissan washer does.
The worst thing that could happen from re-using a washer is the possibility of a leak or probably just a very slow drip at the drain plug. If owners aren't reporting leaks or drips then perhaps the need for using a new washer is unneccessary assuming washers are being re-used.
