how does the 4th gen max's hold up to highmilage. From what I read, they dont fall apart easily this is true right? and also what is up with the bearings in the tranny going bad.... can you guys inform me a little ??

Well, I have a 97 auto with 136,000 on her. Like most cars, if you keep up the maintenence, it'll last a long, long time.

'95 with over 150,000 miles and 100+ trips down the track and LOTS of abuse. I still have near perfect compression and besides performance mods, I've spent no more than 800 dollars on problems with the car. Not including normal maintenance: brakes, oil, tires.

nice sounds good to me the only things i need to look in to is that bearing thing.

bearing thing? Front upper strut bearings?
