that reminds me of a local police department just kinda parking cruisers on the side of the road.... pretty damn funny....

you'd drive by and not see a cop in it for a week, then a week later, BAM! he got ya.

Yeah, they do look kind of gay, but they get pretty good mileage when you opt for the diesel engine

IIRC, the Miata was number 1.

Miata is def #1, but I think the newer ones are actually pretty hot. I don't think the eclipse deserves to be on that list either, except the 3rd gen.

The original Miata was true to its inspiration: the Lotus Elan. The two cars were almost identical, except the Miata never left you stranded.

Its strange, but its hard to get more British than a Mazda Miata.

I found a few Azteks while googling for "ugly car". Crappy resale will make those one hell of a pretend-SUV bargain.

I've never ever thought of the Miata as a "gay" or "girly" car. I've always thought of it as the driver's machine that it is. A small car, little power, huge fun-to-drive factor. It's not really even girly looking if you ask me. Girly looking is Mercedez Benz and Volkswagen. And Toyota.

I saw the ultimate sacrilage yesterday:A riced first gen Miata...when it had only the MX-5 badge. This thing had a fart can the size of my head and a WING! It sounded like a weedwhacker and a honda combined...and there was this kid in it who looked like he desperately wanted to be a pick for the next F&F movie star. Just plain wrong.
