RWD if I remember correctly, and they're almost impossible to find, I don't know how much they sell for, but they weren't too terribly powerful, at least not by todays standards. : ) Gimme a day and I"ll grab some info for ya Fred.

Fred: That was a 71 model. Has roughly the same engine as the Z car. Rear wheel drive only. THe name Skyline comes from a model line that Prince Motorcar used since 1952. Nissan bought Prince in the 60s and continued to use the name.

The Skyline (70-87) was a great 4 seat sport coupe by Japanese standards. It never got outside of the country enough for the rest of the world to see. Nissan built the more famous world beating Skylines in 89 and up when they were guuning for the Asian touring car championship. SD

I also heard that they are hard to find. I heard a guy shipped an old one like a 65 one or somthing like that and got it for like 11,000 or something like that, since before 1968 when the whole emissions deal came into play, it was all right.

I got this info from that site...2000 GTR Late 1972 to early 1977 gave us the C110 series: 1600GT, the 1800GT, 2000GT-X, and the 2000GT-R. The 2000GT-X was powered by the L20 2.0L OHC Inline-6 engine with 130HP. The 1800 was powered by the G18 engine, and the 1600 by the G16.The 2000GT-R had the powerful S20 2.0L DOHC Inline-6 engine with 160HP . The PGC110 denotes the 4-door configuration, and the KPGC110 was the 2-door version. :D

I also thought that this info was interesting...Rumors of an R35 GTR...Rumor Has it that Nissan has dropped in a hybrid version of the 300ZX's VG30DETT that will use a single "monster" turbo set-up along with a massive front mount intercooler. Body-wise it will look similar to the R34, but will feature stronger lines and a massive front bumper to provide for the intercooler. These are only rumors mind you and we know nothing for sure. Apparently there will be a release of an R35 in 2003...
