Could anyone tell me what the purpose of the little balls inside the oil tree... actually on the block... i look up some pics on the internet and the ones i found seem to be blocked off as if they were different than what i see with mine.. i don't think i have a prob with this but i dunno... maybe if i knew why they there i might know if they are hurtin anything.

they are check balls, the make sure that the oil flows only 1 way and they only allw fluid to pass when a minimum pressure is achieved
