hello everyone, have anyone in here used ROYAL PURPLE OIL? if you do how is it run in your car??? and are all ROYAL PURPLE OIL are synthetic?

Here is my opinion.... I use conventional oil in my car but I change it regularly. IMO there is not much difference as far as synthetics and conventionals are concerned, especially when you change every 3-4 months. Id say save that money on buying some go-fast parts forthe car!

Synthetics will give you wider operating conditions and resist depositing varnish and sludge build up. But it is a myth that one can run longer without accumulating contaminants as that is a function of the engine's condition. Synthetics will resist break down longer.

Wes is correct in that the best oil is fresh oil. There is a great thread in the Q45 Forum archives, or read on the web at sites like

Another important advantage of true,full synthetic{group 4 & 5} is the low evaporation and burnoff rates which keep the intake and pvc system much cleaner.
