Is it possible to change my oil pan gasket without jacking up the engine? Do I put Permatex Ultra Black Silicone on both side of the gasket, let it settle for about 2 minutes and put it on?

How do you know if your differential is out? I have a R180 and my car was shaking and vibrating like crazy before. It's not the half shaft and I plan to change the differential and transmission mounts. The reason I asked about my differential is because there are fresh leakage. Where is the fill hole on these suckers?

oil pan, just pull the motor, it's not very time consuming and you'll be able to get at the pan and make sure you get it seated tight, and if you want to use RTV just apply a good bead to one side, put the pan on loosely but snug, let ti sit half an hour or so then torque the bolts down

diff, the fill plug is int he middle of the rear cover, above the drain hole and to the right IIRC, check for play at the input and output shafts, you might have a bad bearing, could also be bad pinion mount and or bad mustachebar bushings

and the way the IRS is designed on these your vibration could also be a LCA mount issue
